The Slovak National Centre for Human Rights is an independent national institution for the promotion and protection of human rights and a body for equal treatment. It was established by Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic No. 308/1993 Coll. on the establishment of the Slovak National Centre for Human Rights and its mandate is further defined by Act no. 365/2004 Coll. on equal treatment in some areas and on protection against discrimination and on amending and supplementing some laws (anti-discrimination law). It fulfills an irreplaceable role in the field of protection and enforcement of human rights and equal treatment.

Working together for a green, competitive and inclusive Europe

The Mainstreaming Work Life Balance and Gender Equality at Workplace benefits from a 180 575 € grant from Norway through the Norway Grants. The project has been co-financed from the State Budget of the Slovak Republic in the amount of 27 086 €. The aim of the project is to raise awareness about gender equality among young people.
